Tracky

A shared chore board for a household that makes the split visible.

The Tracky week board, with chores as rows and coloured dots for who did each one

Tracky shows what needs doing this week and who did what, so people can look at it together and thank each other. There is no nagging, no demanding and no red overdue badges.

Every chore is one primitive: a window of days and a number of dots that have to land inside it. Daily dishes are a one-day window with one dot; vacuuming twice a week is a seven-day window with two.

Doing a chore together is one occurrence with shared participants, drawn as a pie in both people’s colours. The whole interface is one gesture: tap a day, tap a name. Tapping names on and off logs, shares and undoes.

It speaks English and Dutch, and “Hey Siri, I did a chore” logs a dot through an Apple Shortcut with no app to install.
